I really need to take some time to work up a post. Things are just so "locked in" to school work that I really don't have much --make that any-- time off right now.
So, here is a quick note to say:
1. Yes, I'm still alive.
2. Yes, I'm still working on school, 6-days a week.
3. Yes, we have almost reached that one-year mark from getting that zero-warning-thanks-for-nearly-14-years-of-service axe. [Tied to that event is all the paperwork via government agencies for reapplication and a slew of letters and documents that are so confusing that I'm going to have to call them to help sort out what it is that I'm actually responsible for, or to do.]
4. No, Mr. Squirrel's situation is unchanged, but as always, we get snippets of hope... occassionally.
5. Yes, I have found myself having more episodes of depression and discouragement. Temporary solution: Work harder.

- Pastor's wife, step-mom, and self-employed medical transcriptionist. I find myself scrambling like a squirrel trying to "get it all done" while trying to cope with the many challenges of life. [I think it is safe to say that we do live in “interesting times”.] I am grateful for my Bible-believing faith and simple past-times (i.e. sanity-savers). I'm particularly fond of swashbuckling movies and monster movies (new or old, as long as they aren't too slimy). In more ways than I care to admit, my whole life is a squirrel's nest - kind of messy, but there are occasionally safe places to hide.
